• We have punishments where a user can be timed out. If you are timed out then you will not be able to talk or use the discord until the timeout expires. If you wish to appeal, you will need to use another discord account to do so.

Offences

<aside> 🔊 Voice Chat Misconduct

The use of unnecessary noises, sounds, or general disturbances towards other members within a voice channel.

<aside> ⚠️ Explicit Content

</aside>

Any excessive behavior that contains explicit content or otherwise breaks a rule. This can include but is not limited to; inappropriate language, sexual or pornographic content, discussion about severe drug-related topics, severe gore-related topics, severe violence, etc.

This includes voice channel streams and videos.

<aside> ⚠️ Inappropriate Profile

Any offensive Discord Tag, profile picture or banner, profile bio, or status; as well as using any of these to bypass any other rules.

<aside> 🗣️ Advertising

</aside>

Advertising of other servers (through direct IP address), hacked clients, discord invite links, or other forms in any chat that is unrelated to Vortex.

If muted and attempts are made to bypass the punishment, a permanent ban will be issued.

<aside> 🧂 Mute Evasion

</aside>

Any attempt, via your friends, voice channels, text channels, or other means to communicate with other members while muted or banned.

Punishment lengths may vary depending on the case and severity.

If multiple evasions occur while already muted, banned (on previous account), and/or timed out, a ban will be issued.

<aside> 🚨 Abuse of Tickets

Using the Support Ticket system for anything other than asking for assistance. Support tickets are not there to troll staff with.
